Second Saturday Volunteer Day (2018)

We welcome volunteers on the second and fourth Saturday of most months from April to October, 9:30 am to 12:30 pm. Volunteers will work with our staff on seasonal tasks like weeding, planting, cleaning, pruning, and light maintenance. No special experience or skills required. Dress for working outdoors, and if you have them, bring work gloves and a water bottle. PLEASE NOTE: Each adult must register individually in order to complete the waiver.

Little Explorers: The Garden In Bloom (2018)

We’ll explore Bartram’s Garden with all of our senses and create colorful flower art. Monthly program for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2-4. Each session includes activities, performances, snacks, and walks through the garden, weather permitting. Pre-registration required, one adult chaperone for every two children. Bring a picnic lunch and stay for our free story hour at noon from April to November. Beer and Boats at Bartram’s Garden (2018)

Celebrate Philly Loves Beer in the great outdoors with local brews served at the Bartram’s Garden Community Boathouse on the Schuylkill River. Tickets include the cost of the first beer and a boat or kayak excursion out onto the Schuylkill River from our Community Boathouse. All instruction and equipment provided.
