COVID-19 Announcement & Updates

March 13, 2020

Updated December 2nd

Our Welcome Center has closed for the season, however the public park and recreational trail remain open for walking, biking, jogging, and operating a wheelchair.

Do note that per guidance from the city’s Department of Parks & Recreation, the gate to our main driveway will be periodically closed to prevent overcrowding in our visitor parking lot. Bartram’s Garden remains open for safe outdoor recreation while maintaining social distancing.

All on-site public programming at Bartram’s Garden is canceled until further notice. Our offices are also closed, with staff working remotely. We are committed to providing enriching experiences remotely; please follow our social media channels or check our online calendar for information on live-streams and online workshops.

We will assess future programming on a rolling basis. If you would like to change or cancel an existing registration, please contact us to receive a full refund or to transfer your registration. You may also choose to donate your registration fee to the Garden as we continue stewarding this legendary landscape and fulfilling our financial commitments to local program partners, artists, and educators. We are grateful for your understanding and flexibility as we all work together to keep our community safe.

Stay safe, friends. We look forward to seeing you in the Garden someday soon!
