Spring Plant Sale: May 8, 9, and 10

Our annual Spring Plant Sale will feature a unique selection of heritage roses, pond plants, historic boxwoods, vegetable and herbs starts, as well as beautiful native perennials, shrubs, and trees. Click here for our plant sale inventory list.

Horticulturalists will be on hand to answer questions and share garden-planning advice.

Bartram’s Garden Members enjoy first pick of this year’s fabulous selection of plants during our Member Preview Party on Friday, May 8, plus discounts on plant purchases all weekend long!

 

WEEKEND SCHEDULE

FRIDAY, MAY 8

Member Preview Party: 4pm to 7pm

Members get first pick of plants, including Franklinias. Enjoy light refreshments, a 10% discount on all purchases, and consultations with our experienced horticulturalists. Join today to grow as a member and help grow Bartram’s Garden!

 

SATURDAY, MAY 9

Spring Plant Sale: 10am to 4pm

Featuring a beautiful selection of heritage roses, pond plants, historic boxwoods, vegetables, herbs, native perennials, shrubs, and trees. Horticulturalists will be on hand for consultations and advice.

Garden Bird Walk: 7:30am

Join fellow birders to explore and identify birds in the Garden.

Hidden History & Garden Tours: 11am to 3pm

Discover our new Hidden History tour that explores life on an 18th-century farm. Tickets available at the Welcome Center.

 

SUNDAY, MAY 10

Spring Plant Sale: 10am to 4pm

Featuring a beautiful selection of heritage roses, pond plants, historic boxwoods, vegetables, herbs, native perennials, shrubs, and trees. Horticulturalists will be on hand for consultations and advice.

Philadelphia Orchard Project’s Fruiting Plants Sale: 10am to 4pm

The Philadelphia Orchard Project will sell a wide array of fruit trees, berry bushes, and fruiting vines.

Hidden History & Garden Tours: 12pm to 3pm

Discover our new Hidden History tour that explores life on an 18th-century farm. Tickets available at the Welcome Center.

Family Art Workshop: 12pm to 1:30pm

Get creative about animals with this family activity for children ages 5 and up. Space is limited. Click here for more information and to register.

Mother’s Day Boat to Bartram’s Garden: 12pm to 3 pm or 1pm to 4pm
