Updated March 24th
As the situation with COVID19 continues to evolve, all public programming at Bartram’s Garden is canceled through April 30. Our office will also be closed during this time, with staff working remotely.
Yes, that means the annual spring plant sale is canceled until further notice. We are looking into safe ways to offer plants—and plant advice!—in the weeks ahead, and we will be in touch as those plans develop. You can stay in touch with us via social media by using the connect buttons at the bottom of this message.
We will assess programming in May and beyond on a rolling basis. If you would like to change or cancel an existing registration, please contact us to receive a full refund or to transfer your registration. You may also choose to donate your registration fee to the Garden as we continue stewarding this legendary landscape and fulfilling our financial commitments to local program partners, artists, and educators. We are grateful for your understanding and flexibility as we all work together to keep our community safe.
Although the historic house and garden are closed per state requirement, the public park and recreational trail are open for walking, biking, jogging, and operating a wheelchair. Please click here for the full details of Philadelphia’s stay-at-home order.
Stay safe, friends. We look forward to seeing you in the Garden someday soon!
