Heat Wave

  • Date: February 16, 2020
  • Time: 11:00am - 12:30pm

Heat Wave is a performance event that moves throughout Bartram’s Garden.

Your body is with you, every moment of every day of your life – receiving information, responding to stimuli, riding a wave of emotions. If we practice listening to our bodies, what will we be able to hear? Voices from the past? The land under our feet? Each other?

This February, in the dead of winter, we invite you to venture outside as we take you on a journey through your insides.

Heat Wave takes place both outside and inside, and the audience will be moving throughout. Some provisions for warmth will be provided, and layers are encouraged. Large portions of the 50+ acre botanical garden can be explored via wheelchair, though some of our paths should be used at your own discretion. ADA accessible bathrooms will be available onsite. If you have any questions about accessibility, please email jillianjetton@gmail.com.
