Group Volunteering & Team Retreats

Grow as a Team

Help your team and a Philly landmark flourish by hosting your next group volunteer event or team retreat at Bartram’s Garden. Feel the sun on your back, get your hands dirty, and let the fresh air fill your lungs. Join a network of more than 1,000 partners annually to help maintain a vibrant public green space for all to enjoy. Ideal for team building, growing leadership, or corporate volunteering.

Additional benefits are available for corporate sponsors, including private volunteer experiences, custom on-site recognition and vendor showcases, and VIP space rentals and event access.

To request a group volunteering activity, fill out the form below. All requests must be made at least 30 days in advance of desired date in order to give us enough time to place you with a volunteer project. Group volunteer activities typically take place on weekdays between 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. We are more likely to be able to accommodate your group if you can work within that schedule. Owing to limited staff resources, we cannot work with every volunteer group.

Questions? Contact Development Coordinator Kimani Keaton at kimani@bartramsgarden.org.

“My team had a wonderful experience volunteering at the Sankofa Community Farm at Bartram’s Garden and were thrilled that our harvesting efforts supported access to fresh produce for the Southwest Philadelphia community. We are looking forward to planting new crops in spring!”
